The Gigafactory project

The Italian Gigafactory is an ambitious project.
The Gigafactory will be a new and innovative construction located on the outskirts of Milan, specifically in Cernusco sul Naviglio. In collaboration with Snam S.p.A, De Nora is committed to building one of Italy's largest plants and large-scale production hubs with a capacity of up to 2GW to produce electrolyzers for the generation of green hydrogen systems, components for water electrolysis and fuel cells, as well as building products to serve the Group's other divisions.
The project is part of the project portfolio of De Nora Italy Hydrogen Technologies (DNIHT) S.r.l, the beneficiary company of the expenditure contribution from the fund established by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, financed through PNRR resources, for the support financial support to companies participating in the implementation of Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI Fund).
